This is the earliest entry point to a school. It is for applicants living in Cornwall.

School place applications for September 2024 entry (apply from 5 September 2023)

• Starting School (for children born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020
• Transfer to Junior School (for children born between 1 September 2016 and 31 August 2017)
  
• Transfer to Secondary School (for children born between 1 September 2012 and 31 August 2013)

You are able to create an account, add your child or children to your account and submit up to three school preferences.

Cornwall Council will then process your application following the procedures explained on the School Admissions Team web pages: www.cornwall.gov.uk/admissions

• The application MUST be completed by the Social Worker. We cannot accept applications from any other person.

This is joining a school at any time other than the 'Normal Round'. It is for school places in Cornwall.

Please note that you can only apply up to eight school weeks ahead of the place being required (twelve weeks for service families). Applications received outside these timeframes will be withdrawn and you will need to complete a new application form at the appropriate time.
